Stanley Peter RYSZ, Jr. DECEASED § 11/18/53-8/31/16
=OBIT=
Stanley Peter Rysz, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2016 at the age of 62. He was born on November 18, 1953.
Stan graduated from Strong Vincent High School (Class of 1971), attended Gannon University, and received a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Maryland in 1989. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1983-1989. At the time of his death, he was Maintenance Supervisor for Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in West Columbia. A devoted Christian, he was a member of Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church in Lexington, S.C.
Stan enjoyed tending to his garden, fixing his tractor and cars, and his constant carpentry projects. Along with his wife, he was an avid animal lover, with three horses, three dogs, and two cats. Stan thoroughly enjoyed music; everything from the Blues to Rock 'n' Roll. He loved to play and make guitars. Stan had shared this talent with many people who have been blessed to have crossed his path. He was a truly humble man with so many talents to share with the world. He always placed his love in the Lord and his family above all else.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley P. Rysz, Sr.; and brother-in-law, Michael Hollands. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Denise Fehr Rysz; two loving children, Dr. Gary Peterson (Hally) of Erie, Pa. and April Langley (husband, Dyllan) of Cabot, Ariz.; four grandchildren; mother, Fannie Schenk Rysz; and sisters, Davida Hollands, Elaine (Jeff) Eckerson.
Memorial services were at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church in Lexington, SC.
