Susan Carole SUMNER Gruber DECEASED § 2/17/47-11/18/21

Susan Carole Sumner Gruber, age 74, of Cape Coral, FL. formerly of Erie, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers with family by her side. She was born in Erie on February 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Gerald and Rita (Wright) Sumner.
Susan was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, class of 1965 and went on to attend Penn State University. She had been a Systems Representative for Xerox Corp. in Erie and as a Realtor for Century 21 in Erie and Cape Coral, FL, and later at VIP Realty also in Cape Coral, FL. Susan enjoyed crocheting and cooking and was a lover of all animals especially birds, dogs, and cats.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Gruber in 2016. Survivors include her loving daughter, Kristi (Psota) Sonntag and her husband Mark of Ft. Myers, FL., her granddaughter, Morgan Sonntag of Chicago and her sister, Leigh Ann Kelly of Houston, TX.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Tuesday, November 30th at 11 a.m. at St. George Church, 5145 Peach St., Erie, PA 16509. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. are handling arrangements.

I was a Systems Representative and trainer for Xerox Corporation for several years before becoming a realtor for almost 28 years and absolutely love what I do. It's a 24/7 job, not a hobby.
