Today's Featured Biography
Armand (Armie) WEISS
==BIO==
After graduating from Strong Vincent, I served in the U.S. Army as a regimental cook in Munich, Germany, where I learned the sausage business from Herr Herman Weiss, a distant relative.
I settled in Vero Beach, Florida, where I met my wife Helen, whose last name was also Weiss. We have two sons and two daughters, both of which resemble me, although Esther and Delilah have not yet lost all their hair. My sons, Anthony and Armand, later went into the casino business, which I now find more interesting than the sausage enterprise. Esther married Tom Patrick, who now runs Weiss Meats in Vero Beach, a meat market, sausage producer, and restaurant currently being expanded to provide sausage patties to every Shoney restaurant in the South. Delilah married Joseph Villari, who runs The Pork Company for me in Warsaw, North Carolina. The revenue from The Pork Company is currently $5.3 million and growing. I also have a very lucrative subsidiary, Trading Service Company Weiss in Poland, which produces and distributes Brat Wurst, Weiss Wurst, and a special blend of Wurst-Wurst throughout Europe and the Middle East, where I have the packages fraudulently marked all beef.
The Pork Company currently hosts the annual Myrtle Beach Beer Fest, which is being held in 2011 on March 26. Helen and I would like to invite the entire Class of 1950 to the annual affair if my old friend Pat Cappabianca, who I understand runs the reunions, will send invitations to our classmates. It has been so long since I have seen anybody. I just wish there was an easier way of seeing how my old friends look. I have put on considerable weight from consuming too much sausage. It reminds me of the days when Giles and I would buy a big pizza at DeMichael’s and then drive to the East Side for a six-pack. I also remember John Godillot well. We once had a fistfight at Gridley, drew a lot of spectators, nothing happened, and we went to lunch together.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
