Susan Marie MITCHELL Frick

Bob transitioned from full-time work to a periodic consultant advising various government, Navy and Intelligence community agencies.

Bob has more than 45 years of experience and leadership in Naval Operations, Engineering, and Program Management in the Navy, as well as serving in executive positions for Perot Systems, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon.

Prior to his civilian career, Bob was the Program Executive for Submarines as a Navy Rear Admiral responsible for all nuclear submarine design, development, and construction for the U.S. Navy. He also served as the Senior Military Assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology.

Bob is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association. He holds concurrent BS and MS in degrees in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He also completed the capstone course at the National Defense University.

Bob is married to the former Susan Marie Mitchell of Erie, Pennsylvania, and now resides in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. His free-time interests include cycling, golf, long-distance competitive swimming and four glorious grandchildren.
