Carol, It is with the greatest regret that I must report I will not make it to our SVHS reunion. It will be the first one I have missed and I will briefly explain why. My wife and I have had booked a cruise from Norway through the Northwest Passage since three years ago and it has been postponed twice before by the Canadian Government out of fear that it would somehow spread Covid to the native Eskimos. This year it has yet to be cancelled again yet.
It begins on August 16, so logistics do not permit attending both. If perchance it gets cancelled yet again in the next two weeks I will be in touch and plan to be in Erie. I love all my classmates and will dearly miss the opportunity to share life stories with them again.
Thank you too Carol for your tireless efforts to get us all together again. You are truly a Saint and hope everyone has the usual great time.
Your friend and Classmate Jim ROSEBERRY out here still in Wyoming.
=BIO=
After graduating from SVHS, my life became a continuous downhill slide. After six agonizing years of undergraduate (University of Maryland-Go Terps!!) and graduate school (also University of Maryland), I became a federal employee with the Federal Power Commission in the Department of Energy, Washington, D.C.
I worked there until 1970 until I accrued such a vast number of parking tickets, it necessitated leaving the East Coast and moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming. This is the town where the wind and weather precludes any thoughts of homeless people, litter, or stray animal survival. I was the lead wildlife biologist for the Bureau of Land Management, Department of Interior in Wyoming.
I also got married that year to a California girl named Phyllis, and a year later we had our first child, Hunter. Three years later, little brother Seth was born and between these two rapscallions, my fathering days were over.
We survived the high prairie for seven years before moving to Northwest Wyoming (Big Horn Basin) where we raised our boys and reside still today on a ranch replete with coyotes, wolves, wild horses, rattlesnakes, and beautiful mountain views of Yellowstone.
I retired from BLM in 2004, and keep busy with ranch chores, hunting, fishing, traveling with my artist wife and following the exciting lives of our two boys. The older one lives in the Lake Tahoe area and the younger one in Dillion, Montana (finishing school at the University of Montana-Western; River Runs Through It country).
Phyllis and I enjoy canoeing, horseback riding in the mountains, exploring the west, keeping my little cow herd alive, and spending a couple of months each year in Mexico. I keep in touch with several classmates and enjoy seeing them at least every five years. Hope to see as many of you as we can.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
