Postgate Jewelers' Shop Announcement
Welcome to Postgate Jewelers! George and Suzan Postgate design and make all of the jewelery. We love and work in several styles, from Art Deco to Ancient Celtic.
We also love making custom pieces. There is nothing we enjoy more than exceeding our customer's expectations with a beautiful creation.
For the least environmental impact, we use only recycled silver and gold from Hoover and Strong Refiners.
All of our stones are natural and of high quality. We also work with ancient coins and artifacts in our work.

George began making jewelry in 1964 as a teenager on my own and then studied it in high school. I attended Edinburgh College in Pennsylvania.
I moved to San Francisco in 1969 and found a position as a goldsmith in a shop called the Arachnid in Berkeley where I worked until I opened my own shop in 1974.
I became involved in the Bay Area Metal Arts Guild, and Bay Area art scene, and entered and judged several art shows and attracted enough attention...

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
