Today's Featured Biography
Dawna Wich Sanders
Right after high school I met my husband while we were doing summer missionary work. I went away to college for one year at Oklahoma Baptist University but was too homesick. Came home, got married in Jan of 1988 and had our first son, Andrew, in Dec of 1988. After doing home daycare and having one more son, Johnny, I decided it was time to go back to school. If anyone in high school would have told me I would be a nurse, I would have just laughed! But it has been a great career, flexible schedule, woking nights, and being home for my kids and husband during the day. I work in Labor and Delivery and love seeing new life everyday! My grandma, who is 93 now, lives with us and we have one cat and one dog.
