Today's Featured Biography
Jean Brooks
Hi,All! What a milestone! After 2 degrees and several "jobs," my career was in hospital pharmacy where I met Dennis, also a pharmacist who was our Lederle "drug rep." We were married on a boat on SF Bay in July 1983, helped raise his 3 kids, had their 3 weddings in 11 months time, then 2 grandsons, then 2 granddaughters! Ryan starts UC Davis on a baseball scholarship & Jack Oregon State-his Grampa Den's Alma Mater-next month. Lauren & Jenna are HS volleyball, swimming & cheerleading stars!
Family brought us to Sacramento area to be closer to the kids after we lost all-things-material in the Oakland Hills fire in 1991 (my sympathy & empathy to John Flock). Many adventures, travels, pups & several ugly illnesses bring us to today, blessed to be happy & mostly healthy! I'm quieter now, as thyroid surgery (benign) knocked out my right vocal cord.
We've had several rental properties, but traded those in for a beach house at The Sea Ranch which we've fixed up to rent and visit as often as our "1031" exchange and the IRS permit! Fresh air and sea breeze ALMOST match the Rockies!
