My Norwegian husband and I met at Stanford, were married in 1963 and moved to Norway in 1970. We have a son living in Oslo and a daughter living in Danville, CA with her husband and our two grandchildren. I worked in journalism/corporate communications until my retirement a few years ago - loved my job. My husband and I do a lot of traveling -in addition to most countries in Europe, we've visited Russia, Cambodia, Thailand, Egypt, South Africa and more, but Australia is still on our list of must-see places. My all-time favorite activity is reading, but I also enjoy golf and gardening.
I'm not planning to attend the 50th reunion - but if anyone wants to contact me in Oslo, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Update - my dear husband of 47 years died suddenly of a stroke in July 2010. Don't much enjoy being a widow, but friends and family have been wonderfully supportive. I intend to remain in Norway - and to keep on traveling the world!
