My Bride, Linda and I have been married for 36 years. We met at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Linda graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. Linda's career has been with the U.S Government's Department of Agriculture, FSA. Linda hopes to retire in June 2013.
My daughter Susan graduated from Harding University with a degree in Special Education. She is a Shelby County School Special Education Teacher at a Title 1 school. Susan graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with her Master's Degree in May 2007. Susan is married to Daniel Jay Foshee who is employed by Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. Susan and Jay are the parents of my first grandchild Cordie Mae.
Steven graduated with an A.A. Degree and Two Certifications in Computer Sciences from Southwest Community College. Steven has obtained several more certifications since he graduated. Steven is a Senior Revenue Analyst for Hilton Hotels. Steven is married to the former Christy Grady who is employed by Fed Ex in the IT Department.
I began a law enforcement career in 1974 with the Martin Police Department. I joined the Bartlett Police Department in 1976. I had a very interesting and successful career; which included graduating from the prestigious FBI National Academy. This training is recognized as being the best in the world. I retired December 31, 2006 having served 30 years with the Bartlett Police Department. My last postion was at the Rank of Inspector and the Commander of the Investigative Services Division. During my career I was named Officer of the Year and Best of the Best for the Bartlett Police Department twice. Currently, I am a Special Investigator for Direct Insurance handling confidential corporate investigations, insurance fraud, fire & arson investigations. I was recently named Investigator of the Year.
