Today's Featured Biography
Clara Phillips Harmer
Bill & I married June 21, 1969; we have been married for 37 years. Bill has been with Bell South for 35 years. I work for a Radiology group with about 45 doctors doing the insurance, billing, and research. We moved from Bartlett to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. All of Bill's family lives here and he wanted to be in a warmer climate; as for myself I miss Tennessee alot!
We have two children, Paul, who is my first born; 32 years old and works for Abe's Pizza doing a variety of things; delivery, management, and even serving! Still praying for him to find the right vocation; he is great with computers! Carrie, is 27, she is my miracle child; born with a cleft palate, had one surgery with great success and plays the flute beautifully; that is how she got into FSU. She had many health problems but the greatest has been the neuromuscular disease. Even with all of this she was very strong willed even marching in the Bartlett High School band. God has made her strong and she is stablized and He has allowed her to keep walking. She has achieved many things in her life. She teaches autistic kindergartens here in Jacksonville and is working on her masters. She has taught me many things though her faith and her drive to achieve. Children can sometimes be our greatest teachers!
It's so very hard to believe we have been out of school for so many years. Sometimes, it seems like it was only yesterday!
