Today's Featured Biography
W. Allen Fink
After DAHS I gave a substandard effort at Clarion University for 2 years then completed paramedic training at the Williamsport hospital. I married Amy, one of the only good things to come out of my experience at Clarion and eventually graduated from York College while juggling work and family. Went on to attend Medical School at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, via an army scholarship, then trained in Emergency Medicine at Madigan AMC. I left the army after 10 yrs and stayed in Washington. Currently I am a partner in MT Rainier Emergency Physicians, an instructor in Emergency medicine at Madigan Army medical center and a Regional Dean for the Pacific North West University -College of Osteopathic Medicine. My wife Amy is a social worker and is finishing a PhD in Leadership studies at Gonzaga. I have 3 "kids", Jacquelyn (23) a senior at evergreen state college, Chris (21) who will be a freshman at Milwaukee school of engineering while playing on the school hockey team and Bryce (18) a senior in high school who also plays hockey. Not to be left out I am returning to school to complete a Master in Healthcare Administration at the Univ of Washington in the fall. Great to read all the updates, if anyones ever in Washington let me know- we have a great deck, grill and plenty of wine!
