David M Day
David McFadden Day, 48

David McFadden Day, 48, died Tuesday May 29, 2012. Born July 18, 1963, he was the oldest of five children born to Donna J. (McFadden) Day and David L. Day, and the instigator of many of their childhood shenanigans.
David graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1982 and continued his studies at Iowa State University where he earned his degree in Finance. Later, he attended DePaul University in Chicago, Ill., where he received both his CCP and CS. Adventurous, forthright, clever, animated are all words easily used to describe David. His ability to liven a room and speak frankly to those around him is what drew his friends and family to love him. There was never a dull moment when David was with you. He was a passionate, hard worker, drawn to the field of computer solutions and instruction. He had a love for fitness, which mistakenly got him five minutes of fame on Oprah, and even resulted in a speeding ticket while rollerblading. His affinity for adventure even drove him to extremes such as skydiving.
David will be deeply missed by the loved ones he has left behind: his father David Day; his three sisters: Jennifer, Kimberly, and Julie; his brother Michael; his two nieces: Samantha and Sofia; his two nephews: Alec and Will; as well, many good friends.
His family takes comfort in knowing that David has now been reunited with his mother Donna (McFadden) Day who preceded him in death.
