12/5/2019 Updating Contact Information and Thoughts on Reunion

Attended MCC, graduating with LPN license in 1983 and ADN in 1985. Worked in Lake Charles, Louisana in intensive care for 2 years, returning to Iowa in 1986 to spend time with my parents. My youngest daughter and I lived in Waterloo and I worked at the hospital there in intensive care until my Dad died in 1987.
We then moved to Marshalltown and lived with my mother to support her both financially and emotionally. I have precious memories of my time with her... It was then that I became addicted to making jewelry and beading, sharing that addiction with Mom! Much of my time away from work (Marshalltown ICU) was spent at her table playing with beads.
She sold her house in 1990 and moved to my sisters home in Cedar Falls.
From 1991 to 1993 I worked as a traveling nurse in intensive care units in Sante Fe, Turlock, Joplin, and Homesead. My youngest daughter traveled with me and enjoyed New Mexico, California and Florida. (Great bead shops to find beads to send home to Mom!) Then Mom died and we returned home.
I reluctantly ended my nursing career due to health problems, after spending most of the last 8 years in Hospice.
Now I spend my time beading, knitting and remembering all of the patients lives that touched me.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
