After graduation I did some babysitting, then went on to work at Holiday Mart in the sports dept. under the name Hawaii Pan Pacific.
Moved my way up to Manager then came the change over to Daiei Hawaii and I left. Got married in 1980 to the well known
William Kaanohi Kinney Silva a Car enthusiast sign painter/ artist and Owner of "Pinstiping and Stuff" of Kaneohe. Went to work for Atlas
building materials and got layed off when I became pregnant with my first child that did not make it into this world in Jan 1982. So I went to work with hubby as his bookkeeper/secretary and then my Son Eric was born in December 1982, He was born with a complexed heart condition and we made many trips to SanDiego Childrens hospital for surgeries. In 1994 our story hit the news and a few fundraisers were held on his behalf, thanks to the great friends from the Corvette Center Club and other car clubs as well as the Variety Club of Hawaii we succeeded to get his surgeries and
both my husband and I were able to be with him.......Few years later, I had my Son Casey born a preemie, due to his heart stopping, they rushed my delivery and all went well. Packed up the boy's every day and continued to work with the hubby until we moved out to Hau'ula into my grandfathers beach home that my father owned, we had so many great family parties there. I went back to work at the new KFC that was built in 1984. My husband passed away in 1985 of a heart attack, I was left to raise the two boys and even having to take my son again to San Diego for his last surgery all while trying to hold down a job, my boss became like a big brother to both of them. We moved to Molokai when they asked
my boss to go there and open a KFC on the ranch, he offered me an Assistant Managers job and I grabbed it, it was a great place to raise the boys, three years later they closed it up and I moved back home to Kailua to help care for my Elderly Parents and Sister with down syndrome. My parents have since passed and my son's are doing good. Eric made it into the Medical Books for his complex heart condition and is stable and still under going a lot of medical check-ups, He is home doing computer graphics and photography/filming. Casey attended HCC for automotive and makes cars his hobby, He works at Oahu wood working, and gets to DJ as his passion currently at BOB's Sports Bar in Kailua on Fridays.
I will continue to care for my sister untill she joins my parents and then I will start my own journey traveling and enjoying what time I have left.
I have been to Vegas and enjoyed it alot that it's become my place to go for my birthdays in December. I love putting together family and friends parties where we sing karaoke, eat, drink and be merry!! I have two Pomeranians Mino and Bree both of them rescued. They are my companions and bring so much joy to the family.
April 2018 I Married my best friend, someone who stole my heart and makes me very happy again! Guess it's never to late to fall in love again!
Somehow, somewhere the Love got lost! Divorced Aug 18 2023 And my two fur babies had to be put to rest!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
