Today's Featured Biography
Anthony Cerullo
I work as a Pathologists' Assistant at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. A Pathologists' Assistant is a Physician's Assistant with a specialty in Pathology.
I met my wife in Laramie. That was one of the most fun years of my life, and if any of you have attended UW, you know why. It was unfortunate that my stay there was short, but I had already finished an undergraduate degree in Southern Utah. After Utah, I found a bachelor’s degree in Zoology was worth nearly nothing in the job market, and that is why I ended up in Laramie pursuing an additional degree in Medical Technology.
After Karisa and I were married, and I finished the additional bachelor’s in Medical Technology at UW, we moved to Connecticut so that I could go to grad. school. Later, when I began my career in UT, we had a little boy (2002).
By far the most rewarding part of my life thus far is being a father. My son Aiden is worth everything to me. Our family is about to grow. We are expecting a baby girl in May 2008. We are so excited to be having a girl, but frankly, I am not sure what to do with one. I constantly joke about locking her up when she gets to be a teenager.
We love life in Fort Collins. I am near my brother Adam, who lives in Greeley and My brother-in-law Jon Linn and his wife Becky Linn (her maiden name Sharp; the only reason I mention that is some of you may have known her at NC). Becky also works at the Poudre Valley Hospital and is a Pharmacist. All of us are from Casper. Becky, Adam and I went to NC and Karisa and Jon went to Kelly Walsh. I can't see leaving Fort Collins anytime soon, although, the cold weather in the winter is becoming tiresome. It is not as bad as the windy winters in Wyoming, but I am finding that I prefer heat to cold!!!
I spend my spare time trying to stay in shape. I love to golf, and I bowl on a league with my brother in the winter. I mostly spend my extra time playing with my son who never tires of creating game after game. He truly prefers to just wrestle around.
I would be glad to hear from any of you. I kind of miss the old days. It seems we all left High School in a flurry and really haven't spent much time looking back. See you in 2010!!! Tony Cerullo
