UPDATED 6-26, I've been in the central valley since 1985, after I got a BS at the Univ of Wyo. Public accounting kept me busy for several years and I was doing taxes and accounting services. Then I went to work for a family owned road construction company the same year my daughter was born and worked there for 16 years. Lot's of growth and very interesting dealing with ag land, mining (both mountain and river mining), 10 subsidiary offices, multi state issues, etc. Recently I invested in a CPA firm and therefore I'm back in public accounting. But the kids are pretty well grown up and going through tax season isn't as tuff as it used to be! (On me or the kids!). Although I haven't been back to Casper very often, I do remember sneakin to the Beacon, the Wonder Bar, and the other place out on that one street, next to the vacant lot, close to the intersection where the gas station was, but not too far from the green house that has that old car out front. I'm glad it wasn't snowing outside, cuz there goes my directions. I remember many times playing tennis with Matt Adelman and Dave Barelle to see who buys the fifth. We all won our fair share of games, and always got our fair share of the booze. Since Matt is being unsocial, I can talk about him here... he had a terrible back hand. Got tired easy and got drunker even easier. If you ever want to play a great game of pool, take Dave B to the 4 aces....a great time is always guaranteed by the Big Dog David Barelle!! (Be careful tho...He needs treatment for his SEVERE addiction to MOPARS). He has also been diagnosed with delusions of beating every Ford and Chevy that pulls up next to him. But this was not a delusion, he fires up the old oil burner, checks his hair in the rear view mirror, adds a quart of oil to his hair and the engine, smooths down that mustache (that he has had since high school...you lucky dog), and then lets it rip... If he ever tells you I have a glass eye, he is lieing. Just don't stand to my left... We just had Graffiti nite here in Modesto. Lots of car shows and driving around. Another reminder of the good ole days! Oh, my current picture? I guess hanging out with Dave and Matt, and being a cpa causes a little grey hair!
