Avoid becoming history!
Jan and I both graduated from Casper College in 1970. We had gotten married in August 1969. We moved to Denver, Co the fall of 1970 and attended the University of Denver (DU) our last two years of college.
I worked for IRS part time under a program that helped us get thru the last 2 years of college. I graduated in March 1972 and on my birthday April 16 I headed for Springfield,IL for one of 3 round trips I would make there in 1972 for my IRS Training to become a Field Agent I was a Field Agent at IRS until the day before Thanksgiving 1974. I had gotten a call out of the blue with a better paying job with a drilling rig company. I took thejob and in there office on Monday, December 2nd. I worked for them until they sold the drilling rigs on July 1st of 1977. See below for the rest of this story.
Jan and I had gotten divorced on August 22, 1975 just 1 day before our 6th Anniversary. We both remarried in February 1976. She married another Bob on February 21 and Cathy and were married on February 28.
My beard will turned 37 in 12/2017 and it has a story of it's own (for another time). It seems my hair is a bit grayer too, but at least I still have all of it.
My wife, Cathy and I will have been married for 42 years as of the end of February 2018 and still live in the same house we bought almost 41 years ago in December 1976.
Both of our daughters, Kelli (40) and Erin (38) have attained Masters Degrees and have successful careers.
Cathy and I have 5 grandchildren. When our daughter, Kelli married the 1st time (2001) her husband had a son from a previous relationship We gained a son-in-law, Randy High and our first grandchild, Ashton (20), born 6/24/98. Granddaughter, Kacey (12) arrived 7/1/06. Granddaughter, Madi (10) and grandson, Colby (10) both arrived 6/29/08. Kelli was divorced from Randy in 2009. She was married in 2012 to Trei (Donald III) Hesse. They had our 5th grandchild, Tia (5) on 6/16/13. All five birthdays are in the span of 6/16 to 7/01.
Cathy retired the first time December 2009 at 54 and the last time December 2014 at 59.
I had worked for the same family for 40 years and 8 months. When I came home from vacation I was given 2 days notice "That They Were Retiring Me" on Friday July 31, 2015. I originally went to work for the family on December 2, 1974. On July 1, 1977 I, along with one other employee created a new company for the family. This new company was set up to oversee all of the other family companies. The man who started the company with me died of cancer within 5 years of us creating the company. I oversaw everything after that until "They Retired Me".
Our lives have always revolved around our families and lucky for us they live in fun places like Cabo, Southern California, and various places in Florida.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
