Today's Featured Biography
Leslie Larson Poznanter
Loving life in S. Ca. with my husband, Paul, after the expected ups and downs of raising kids, climbing the corporate ladder (my husband) and eventual entrepreneurship that followed.
Wow; going back 40 yrs. and keeping it short is not an easy task! We've lived in Belgium and Italy, as well as 3 midwestern cities and N.Y. We love traveling overseas and usually go to W. Europe for vacation.
Our oldest son, Danny, is in construction in Humboldt County, Ca. and our David is finishing his Master's of Fine Arts, after 8 years of dance/circus schools in Europe. Neither are married, though both have been engaged. (We are in no hurry; if they aren't ready, we can wait.)
Paul is a financial advisor and stock broker and works from home (hurray!) and I'm a Reading Therapist, which means I teach a specialized program that has extraordinary results with non-readers, or those who read, but not well. My clients range from ages 5-80 and I'm fortunate to work from home, also. I was a stay-at-home mom until our boys went to jr. high and I loved every minute of it.
I'm a Ca. girl at heart and moved here after 5 years at Pac Bell (Seattle) back in 1973. I go to Bremerton at least once a year to visit family, though my mom and sister live down here. In fact, I just missed this reunion, as I was in Bremerton last week.
Kenny Love contacted my sister and I was astounded to find we've been living 15 minutes from each other for 20 years. We are meeting today for the first time, and I'm so looking forward to it. We'll get a photo so he can take it to the party.
I hope the reunion is wonderful for all of you. If you're ever down this way, please let us know. I'd love to catch up and it's alway nice to show people this beautiful area that we love so much.
