I retired from Trident Refit Facility as a COBOL programmer.
I have been married to Randy for 33 wonderful years. I was working at the Naval Supply Center where I was selected as their Queen for a year. We started boating in 1976 in a 18 ft Bell Boy and camped on Matia, Sucia, and Jones Island in the San Juan Islands for 12 years. After 12 years camping we decided to get a larger boat for comfort, so we bought a 32 ft Luhr's. Then we not only went to the San Juans but also to Canada for 11 more years. Then we wanted a little more adventure, bought a 40 ft Symbol and headed for Alaska. We joined the Bremerton Yacht club and started cruising with two other boats to Skagway, Haines, Juneau, Ketchikan, Craig and Sitka. One summer we circum-navigated Prince of Wales Island for 4 months. Our last trip included two months to go around the Queen Charlotte Islands.
We decided it was time to sell the boat and do some land traveling. The past three years we have taken our trailer south, including a trip though Baja Mexico from Tecate to Cabo San Lucus and also spent three weeks at Rocky Point in Mexico. February 2010 we will be heading for Arizona and Mariners spring training with friends.
Our church has a community dinner, "Bread for Bremerton", where I volunteered for 5 years as a cook the last Friday of each month. We had a good turn out of up to 100 plus people. When the Benedict House was completed for the homeless men in our community , I cooked there also.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
