East High School - Class of 1964

Everyone seems to enjoy the Garage, so we are hoping to see more of you at the one of the last two luncheons for 2026. There will be a lot to share from the recent reunion that we hosted to celebrate our 80th birthdays. More than 50 people joined in the fun. Bring your appetite.

Larry Beelaert

I have lived in Spokane for the past 27 years or so where I was actually born. Since seeing you all I have been a cop, a drunk, a truck driver, a therapist and just finished a 12 year coaching stint at Eastern Washington University. I still do a little therapy and teach some classes for the local courts but spend a lot of my time now working on and riding on my Harleys. We are just finishing a 1949 that I have been working on 3 years. I still love football and miss game day a lot especially the excitement and confusion of the sidelines. I guess I haven't grown much since school as I still spend a lot of time with young people, motorcycles and football but the three have given me a lot back.
I have been in a relationship with Judy Crabb for the last 10 years. We met in Athletics at EWU. She lives ib Cheney and we spent time doing whatever we want. We get to Bremerton a few times a year as Annie and my granddaughters Myla and Avery live in Port Orchard and we are very close.
Gary Cobler and I remain great friends and talk often and see each other when possible. He is the first kid I met at George Dewey and is the best friend a guy could have!
