EHS Class of 1964 Luncheon

2025 - 12:00 pm
Paul Adamski's Home @ 1304 Trenton Ave, Bremerton, Wa 98310
Potluck - Bring your own drinks & a dish to share....
Paul & Pauletta Adamski have graciously invited all of you to come to their home for the next Class Luncheon. They have a lovely patio with umbrellas and a view of Rich Passage (I think) & the ferries from their home.
The June luncheon was well attended with 20 people. We changed locations at the last minute because the power was out in that area of Kitsap Way. We were able to move the the Garage Bar & Grill & were well received. We plan on continuing at The Garage for the October 6 & December 1 Class Luncheons.

After hs, I went to college for one year and then got sucked into that war. After that, I worked at PSNS for a few years. Went back to school and finished that up in the mid 70s. Moved to Republic (WA) and spent about 20 years as a back-to-the-land hippie. Lived off-grid in house I built, raised most of our own food, kept a dairy cow and raised hogs. Managed the local natural food co-op for about 10 yrs. Republic was a major gold district in the previous century and I got involved in gold exploration after the co-op days. Ended up as the manager of public and environmental affairs for a major gold mining company (now defunct) and moved to Denver in 1996. That job didn't last for long; I ended up going back to school for an advanced degree in environmental law. For the past 10, I've been at the Environmental Protection Agency here in Denver.
I retired on 17 May 2013! We have been building our retirement home in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, just west of the Continental Divide below Wolf Creek Pass in southern Colorado, for the past year. We just received the Certificate of Occupancy in May and the solar electric system is spinning our power meter backwards as we speak. We are in heavy anticipation for the next chapter in our saga - retirement, travel, kids & grandkids. Exciting times for Deb & me.
Married, three kids (mixed family), 3 GKs, one lives here in Denver so I get to see him a lot.
We're in Denver, so it's a stretch to get up to Bremerton for the reunion event. We are planning to attend the 50th Reunion next year.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
