Reta Miles Gibson
Following high school, I attended Keene State then in July 1963 married Cecil Tisdale and moved to Hartford, Conn. working at Hartford Fire Insurance. After 1 1/2 years, we moved to Stark where we worked in the Groveton Paper Mill. I worked as an Invoice Supervisor for 21 years. Previously was Admin. Assistant at Moody Tech Corp., Hollis N.H. (2 years); Admin. Assistant Brookside Hosp. at Nashua, N.H. (14 years) and Admin. Assistant Monadnock Hosp. at Peterborough, N.H. (2 years). Various classes were taken at Daniel Webster College, Hesser College and N.H. Tech Institute. I retired July 2001 after 39 years of employment.
Divorced Cecil Tisdale March 1985 and married Robert Gibson June 1987-divorced 1995.
My son Douglas Tisdale (44) lives in Susquehanna, Penn. My grand children are Dennis Tisdale (24), Groveton, N.H. and Glen Tisdale (21) in the U.S. Navy at Gulfport, Miss. One of my biggest pleasures is babysitting my 2 great grandchildren Alex (5) and Devin (2 1/2).
Besides babysitting, I enjoy knitting, quilting, crocheting, serving as Treasurer at Senior Meals in Groveton, and travel.
I live at the Duplex (The James Main house) on State Street and have a nice spare room for guests, family, and friends anytime.
