Today's Featured Biography
Lisa Clingenpeel Olson
Let's see, if I could change a bit of time early on I just might do it, so let me just start with a few years after school when I moved to Phoenix. I lived in there for two years and had a great time taking visitors to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Mexico. I traveled a lot, spent some time in Europe, went parasailing in the Bahamas, got robbed in San Francisco (but caught the guy and even caught another guy whom I witnessed robbing a woman the next morning - citizens arrests are fun!) I flew a small plane (well, once it was in the air, but I still flew it). Then, I moved to the Chicago, (better job, same company). Boy was that fun! For all the Cub fans, I lived between Wrigley Field and Lake Shore Drive - what a great city!
A week after my 28th birthday I met my husband. We were married in Chicago in 1997 in a beautiful garden with dinner and dancing all night long - then BAM - pregnant with TWINS. Oooh - it's been wild, and fun, and a bit crazy. I've been a stay-at-home mom, since a few weeks before our girls were even born - I was so huge I couldn't work! Now our daughters are in first grade, and I'm feeling like an empty nester, wondering what to do with the rest of my life.
Currently, we live in a pretty little (Did I say little? Yes, little) town just South of Asheville, NC where my husband works. We visit Overland Park about twice a year. We hope to make it this summer, but if not, it's nice to read bios.
