Today's Featured Biography
Julie Lilley Hatesohl
After high school, I attended Kansas State University for 3 years. I was in the Marching Band and had an awesome time. My fourth year took me back to Kansas City were I received my BS in Health Information Management. I worked a couple years at Bethany Medical Center in KC as a coder and UR coordinator. Then I became the medical record director at the Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center KS. It was in Clay Center where I met my husband, David. We eventually moved to Topeka and I went back to school (Washburn) and graduated with my MBA in 2002. I worked for 2 years at St. Francis Health Center as the Billing Supervisor. I then spent the remaining 8 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, where I was the education coordinator, teaching hospitals how to bill Medicare, Blue Cross and TRICARE claims correctly. In 2008, I accepted the position as Director of Patient Financial Services at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, KS. My husband and I have since moved back to the flint hills and are currently living in Manhattan (close to those K-State games!). We have two bichon frise (dogs) and enjoy traveling.
