Well, this is the first "reunion" type of contact I've ever made with my old classmates! What can I write in my bio? Not many things as exciting or interesting as some of the others I've read, but here's what I've done with my life.
After bouncing around a few years working odd jobs, I decided finally to go to college in 1985. Since I didn't qualify for any student aid, I ended up taking out a personal loan and paid for it myself. Got my Associate Degree in 1987 from Ivy Tech State College in Secretarial Sciences w/Wordprocessing Option. Unfortunately, most of the businesses around here kept mixing data processing with wordprocessing and I didn't go too far with that degree.
I had gotten my Qualified Medication Aide certification before that so I went back to what paid the bills. After years of that, I switched to a state DOC position until 1999 until I was injured severely off-duty; dislocated and fractured my left arm in 14 pieces between the humerus ball and elbow, and could not return to work as an officer. So, it was back to the books. Since my computer skills were from the dinosaur age, I figured the best way to go was to upgrade them.
I now have a Technical Certificate in Computer Information Services and most of the credits I need for another Associate Degree. I did some temp work while waiting for the super job I know God has in store for me; He wouldn't have put me through all this unless He has great plans for me. Right now I'm back to looking for that job again.
Of all the members of our class who have passed on, I miss Walter Murr the most; we grew up together and when he passed of AIDS, it was heartbreaking!
If anyone wants to email me, feel free. I'd love to hear from you.
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "Plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11 - my life verse.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
