HI Everyone! I am living in Noblesville. My kids all live within 20 miles. Got to love that.
I am busy right now launching CAREER #3.
I worked for over 30 years in food service management, retiring in 2002. During those years I did many different things.Always a new challenge. While my former husband was military and we moved around a lot, I think I was the asst manager of every fast food restaurant known to man. I worked for a number of years in hospitality and catering including a 2 year stint as the catering manager at the IN State Capitol and Gov.Center. In 1991, I became a Certified Dietary Manager and at one time I was managing a nursing home dietary department in Tipton and overseeing three others in Kokomo, Noblesville and Indianapolis.
In January, 2007, I launched a company with my son Timothy. Through my love of genealogy and his love of history, we have found that the pioneer cemeteries dating back to the early 1800's are victims of age, neglect and vandalism. There are taxes paid to keep these cemeteries in good repair but there are very few professionals who actually do the repairs. As The Graveyard Guardians, Inc. we will restore preserve and document these valuable historic artifacts. We will also teach volunteer groups such as DAR, SAR, Boy and Girl Scouts and local historical groups to document, maintain and clean the tombstones using preservation methods. Some people think we are morbid and some think its really a neat idea and others just think we are nuts. :-) We won't ever get rich doing it but it will be interesting preserving a little of Indiana history.
Love spending time with "my 5 babies" (grandchildren) who are all under the age of 8. They are too cute for words, but I might be prejudice. Still love to travel and am currently writing a Doty family history book from Mayflower to the present. I still read and do cross-stitch when I can. I spend way too much time on my computer. And I have to admit an addiction to CSI/Law & Order type shows. Anyone down this way give me a shout and I'll meet you at Starbucks.I love to see old friends.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
