Today's Featured Biography
Christopher Moorhead
After spending a year after graduation in Silverdale and Seattle, I packed up my VW Rabbit and headed east for a year of school. Following the sharp decline in NASA's budget, I decided to head back to the NW and try for my fortune a little closer to home.
I attended the UW for a few years, dabbling in both computer science and architecture before joining the work force full time. I joined Girvin in the early 90s and am still with them, working my way up the corporate ladder.
I continue to see a number people from high school, living with a number of them for a few years (the pool parties were wonderful) and playing soccer with them (or against them) as well.
I met my wonderful wife while playing soccer (she helped me off the field when my ACL gave way) and we married three years later. We built our family piece by piece, first the house, then the 115 pound Bernese Mountain dog, and finally our daughter Isabel. Life is very good and enjoyable, if a little hairy (the dog), messy (the daughter), and busy (the work and play).
