Steve Hudson

I like to describe my life as fairly simple. I have no dogs or cats or kids or wife or x’s, but lots of friends and a couple of nieces and nephews. I didn’t stray to far from the tree either. I live on Kitsap Lake and my summers are full of boating, jet skiing and a little wake boarding. I think I have been adopted by a family of 5 since they are over all the time usually bringing lots of food for the barbeque (I now call them my wake boarding family). Since they leave their boat all summer and other friends leave their jet skis it can be fairly noise around my house. It is not uncommon to be cooking dinner for ten and often there is someone still on the lake way after sun down. Summers are my favorite but winters are fun too. I decided to switch from skiing to snow boarding a few years ago on a dare from a friend. I think I said “maybe I will try it” after saying “NO” for two or more years. Somehow “maybe” got turned into “ok” and after a slow and painful start I finally got the hang of it and now I am hooked, so no more “two planking”. I guess it makes me feel a little hipper/younger. I still golf but not as much as I use to. Golfing vacations are always high on my list and whenever I can hook up with some golfing friends and go somewhere I usually always try to say yes. Hawaii, Ireland and Arizona are fun golfing destinations. Overall, I have not traveled very far but I am planning on changing that in the next few years. I work for BAE Systems as a computer programmer. It is a large company with 25 thousand employees in the US and 50 thousand in Europe.
My sister Leigh lives in the middle of San Francisco on Nob hill and has one boy. It is always fun to visit but I sure couldn’t afford to live there. My sister Sheryl is in Seattle and has a busy life with two smaller kids, a demanding job that requires travel and a husband who also travels overseas.
My parents are doing well and spend their time between Palm Springs and Seattle.
Since I still live in the area I see quite a few classmates and Coreen Haydock Johnson’s annual golf tournament for charity has become a mini class reunion every year.
