Today's Featured Biography
PATRICIA STEWART CLEVEN
Clearly in over my head trying to contain the last 63 years in a small typed square....I married Jerry Cleven (West '62) a mere 45 years ago. We raised a perfect daughter, she in turn is raising two perfect children. Our grandson attends Florida Atlantic University and our granddaughter goes into her senior year at Key West High School this Fall.
11 years ago we partnered with our daughter and son-in-law in a Mom and Pop Hardware Store in the Florida Keys. We live in the Keys approximately 8 months of the year.
Before that, Jerry and I were Real Estate investors. We owned and operated rental Real Estate. At my peak, I had 45 rentals. I was very good at negotiation, intimidation, repairing and cleaning. We also built 5 homes, the last two we designed, one of which is Jerry's folk's home on Chico Creek. I am mostly retired. That said, we recently bought a Hangar Home on a private air strip. Presently we are going through the various inspections. Weekends, I work in the Hardware Store.
As well as flying, I enjoy boating, camping, reading, cooking and shopping. My granddaughter once asked, " Nana, are you, like, the family shopper?"
