Today's Featured Biography
Mica "Mikki" Baugh Burnett
Leaving Amarillo in 83, I attended school in Carthage,Missouri my Junior year. Graduating in that state required 8 more credits than Tx, so I opted for the GED rather than spend another year. So I missed out on walking that aisle, as well as missing alot of classmates! I eventually came back home to Amarillo where I married at 18, and was blessed with a daughter in 1987. Lindsey is now 16, going to Aacal for medical science, and wrestles for Amarillo High.In 93, I was blessed with a second daughter Laci, now 10, who plays volleyball, writes poetry and songs just like mom, and attends Ridgecrest. I was in restaurant management for several years-The Sheraton, Harvey and HPBH, but settled down working so much after my youngest was born. My husband and I owned a local satellite company from 91-97. I've been divorced for 7 years now. Attended nursing school at AC,class of 2000, worked in gynecology,and now am currently positioned as a nurse educator for Worth the Wait. Its awesome what God can do when you finally surrender your life to Him! I lead a singles group at church (The Body of Christ at Amarillo South) and am still actively singing at weddings, parties, and for outreach ministries. And yes, I am still just over 6 ft tall!:) Drop me an e mail, I would love to hear from you. God Bless!
