Today's Featured Biography
Scott Mortenson
Graduated from NWMSU in 1992 with a B.S., and lettered 3 years in track (shot put and hammer throw) while there. Graduated from MU veterinary school in 1996, and met my wife during my 4th year. Practiced in St. Louis for 2 years, got married in 1998 and moved to Champaign, Il, where I practiced for 3 years. Moved to beautiful North Carolina in 2001 and had our son (Gavin) in December of that year. I worked at a clinic in a little hick town called Randleman for 5 years, then I bought my veterinary practice in 2006 in a growing area of Greensboro, and the practice has grown immensely ever since. We had our daughter (Cora) in February of this year.
My son is athletic and hilarious; my daughter is chubby, cute, and constantly smiling; and fortunately both are healthy and have my wifes beautiful blue eyes.
We like going to the NC mountains that are an hour and a half away, attending local minor league baseball games, and picking a little bluegrass on my banjo. I also enjoy trying to keep my yard looking like it belongs on the cover of a gardening magazine.
I've enjoyed reading all of the bios, and I'm glad to see that you all are doing well. Thanks to this website, I've been trading emails with Kevin Brown and reminiscing about our senior basketball season. I still hurts that we lost to Truman 3 times...
