Tami Harper Ricks
Wow!!! Sure has been a long time since High School. It's been even longer since I've seen many of you. In between our Sophomore and Junior years, my family moved to Illinois. Kind of a drag. Took me a while to get my head back in the game. Worked at a few jobs after High School, then went to a Jr. College to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Worked at that for two years before doing the craziest thing--enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Have been in over 20 years. Absolutely love it. Been all over the world. What a wild ride. Retired in 2006.
I finally settled down in 1996 and married my sweetheart, Anthony (Tony.) We have two awesome girls--Brittany, 19 (Freshman at K-State) and Cristina, 10 (queen of the world). They keep me busy.
I'm do some substitute teaching at the local school district--but my new love is cosmetics. I am having so much fun as a part-time Independent Beauty Consultant!! (Check out my website.) Makeovers for everyone:)
My commitment to the Navy has made it difficult to attend the past reunions. I hope to be able to make it to Minnesota soon!
