Anne Warwick van Oorschot
I graduated in the class of '75 and after getting a bachelors degree at the U of M, I got the opportunity to live in Salzburg, Austria for a year and worked as a governess for an American family with a nine year old daughter. The parents both worked at an international conference center which was housed in the castle used for much of the filming of "The Sound of Music", and since that is where we lived as well it was pretty impressive! I met my Dutch husband there as he was a participant at one of the conferences. I moved to The Hague in the Netherlands in January of 1981 and have been here ever since.
I attended the reunion in 1980, 1990 and 2010. While I am unable to attend the rescheduled 2020 reunion (my son is getting married on that date in northern Minnesota) I am in Minnesota nearly every year in the summer so hope to make it next time. I love to meet fellow classmates and catch up!
