After graduating from UW-LaCrosse in 1992 I moved to the east coast, first landing in Boston for a while, before settling in New York City and then finally in Westchester County about 45 minutes north of Manhattan.
I spent my entire career working for Time Warner's Book Division working my up from a Customer Service phone rep, to most recently Director of Children's Mass Merchandise Sales and Client Services.
I married my husband Neil in 2000 and we enjoyed a few years of marriage traveling and making the most of city life, before buying a house and starting a family. We have a beautiful little girl named Indrani who is turning three in a couple of days. I went back to work after she was born but ultimately decided to take a break from corporate life for a while and am lucky enough to be able to stay home full time with her. I “retired” on the exact date of my 35th birthday and at that point, according to social security, I had been working for 20 years already! Doug was such a slave driver!
I enjoy entertaining and cooking for family and friends in the area. I also love that I can once again read for pleasure as opposed to reading something because I have to. In addition, as a family we continue to enjoy traveling, which includes frequent trips back to Wisconsin.
