I stumbled across the site, and found it kind of interesting seeing what some of you are up to, and thought I would throw my life story on here also.
I went to one year of college in Vincennes, Indiana (where I met my eventual wife Michelle) I transferred after a year to UW-M, and started working during college managing a bowling center in Milwaukee, in 1989 I moved to Lodi where I managed the bowl there and married in 1990. I was asked to manage the bowling center in Reedsburg later that year, and I burned myself out about a year and a half later.
In 1991 Michelle and I went on the road in our motorhome for a 1 1/2 year adventure of bowling the pro tours and working our way around the eastern half of the US. It can best be described as going on vacation without money, but we both agree we were glad to have been able to experience it.
In 1993 we moved our home (which was pretty easy since it was on wheels) to Nashville, TN and started our first Bowling Pro Shop, we eventually opened 9 of them between 1993 and 1998, and in 1999 we had become the company that we purchased our products froms biggest customer. I was asked to run that company, my wife took over the retail side, and that is what I have been doing since 1999. In 2005 we built our dream home out in the country, in Mt. Juliet, TN (home of Charlie Daniels!!)I travel way more than I really care for, but the bowling business has blessed my wife and I very nicely. We have no kids, just an old tired Bloodhound dog named Mulligan.
