Denise Adams Bass

I always freak out when I have to wrap up my life in a short 100 words or less. Then I realized that it doesn't have to be less than 100 words. Being Denny Adams has been challenging to say the least. Loved life and had a great time in school even though I really didn't study enough. Married my high school sweetheart (Brian) and proceeded to have three wonderful kids (Kimberly (Carl) Grinstead), (Craig) and Corey (Michelle) Bass. We lived in the Sauk Prairie area most of our lives except for the four year in the State of Oregon. Those were some fun times living in Salem. While living in Oregon I found out I had third stage ovarian cancer and was given two to four years maximum to live. That seems to really change your life when you hear that news! Went through six months of chemo therapy. Decided to move back to SP and be near our children and grand children. I have gotten to see my daughter get married and my youngest son married also. This year Brian and I will celebrate our 50th anniversary. WHOW! That is a hell of a long time with one person. We must love each other a lot or neither one want to train a new spouse all over again. Have had cocker spanials since early childhood. Now I have Lilly and Nicki. Have six grand children ranging from 21 to 9 years old and one great-grandchild Brooks Mack. God willing I will be able to see them all graduate from SP, go to college and be at their weddings and even see more great grandchildren. We have a big wedding Sept 30 and our granddaughter Danielle is getting married to a wonderful guy. I am truly blessed! This is a huge miracle I have been given..I don't take life for granted and try not to be to serious most of the time. It is so true that laughter is the best medicine....Life is great!!! My husband would say that I don't take life serious enough so I let him do most of the worrying and I just laugh my way through life. It seems to work for me... I am still alive and can't wait to see everyone at the class reunion.. My grand-daugher says laugh till you tinkle...Most of us are getting to that age where we don't have to laugh to tinkle, it just happens! When our parents were in their 60's we thought they were ancient and didn't know anything about life. What goes around comes around is so true. Now my grand children think we are old and we don't know much either. Life is a revolving door and it has come full circle back to us! Can't wait to see all my classmates and have a great time. See you very soon!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view. Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors." 5/5/2018
