Tracie Brelsford
Hi all! I'm back in Pullman for life after pulling a student exchange stint in Colombia in 1981, going to college and graduate school (WSU and Ole Miss), internship (Portland VAMC), Fellowship (UVa in Charlottesville), working as a neuropsychologist for 8 years in Vancouver, BC, and ultimately deciding when my parents retired that it was worth giving it all up to start over in my hometown in the job I had when I left. I have truly loved being back in Pullman. My brother and I now develop (him) and manage (me) a whole slew of apartments in Pullman - 1,500 and counting.
I'm active in Pullman Civic Theatre as director, actor, designer and manager; homeless pet fostering and volunteering with the local humane society; and I travel and scuba dive as often as I can.
I returned to Colombia two years ago to see my host family after 27 years, and that started me thinking I'm ready to live out my dream of travel. I go to Mexico frequently, finally visited the southern (and eastern) hemisphere last spring on a scuba diving trip to Fiji, and, to quench my love of modern history, for my 50th birthday present to myself (a year early), my sister and I are visiting Paris, London and Belfast, then sailing back to New York on the 100th Anniversary Titanic Memorial Cruise, which will find us in the North Atlantic directly over Titanic on April 15th - my birthday - 100 years to the day & hour after she sank.
This will be the first time I haven't come home for our class reunion - because I'm already here! I can't wait to see everyone :) Go Greyhounds!
