50 Year Reunion Announcement!

Meet at Kamiak Butte County Park at 11 and hike together to the Viewpoint and Summit; the trail is rated moderate (3.5 mile RT and 900 feet of elevation).
At the summit we will invoke the spirits of departed classmates. As in 2015, spontaneous Greyhound levitation is likely to occur. (see photo link next to More Information)
After High School I graduated from WSU with my Bachelor's in Industrial Education. I was hired by Boeing after graduating and worked there for 34 years, 5-1/2 months, retiring Aug 1 2014. Yep, I managed to retire at 57!
I got Boeing to pay for my MBA, graduating in 1990. I never really used it much for them, even though I was in management for many years.
Aug 1, 2014 I was on another mission trip to Zambia, Africa. Other mission trips include: 3 more to Zambia; one to South Africa; 2 to Juarez, Mexico; one to SE Alaska; one to San Francisco. It is very rewarding getting to work side-by-side with people from other countries and learn about their cultures.
I started volunteering at Mount Rainier National Park as a Park Ranger in 2016. The Volunteer Program Manager hired me in 2022, so I was an official Park Ranger that summer, but then I remembered why I retired the first time. I am back as a volunteer again. That lets me enjoy the "work" without all the job have-to-do tasks.
Otherwise, I have many hobbies that keep me busy: Woodworking, Welding, Metalworking, House remodeling, Jewelry (sheet metal and casting). I still hunt for deer on a friend's farms out of Pullman every year. And I am still skiing during the winters. I also started fishing again on occasion.
I have a wonderful wife (46 years this year), and a wonderful son, daughter and son-in-law. We take trips often and have been on 3 ocean cruises and 8 river cruises. I highly recommend those!
