Michael-Ellyn Schetzle

Michael-Ellyn, owner of Mellyn Media Solutions has lead a wonderfully interesting and challenging entrepreneurial life.

Following her love of singing, performing and public speaking, she became a female branding voice talent for local, regional, national and international commercials, syndicated broadcasting, industrials/documentaries, websites and internationally released DVDs. Her many clients include, Chaffey Homes, Bailine - Women’s Figure Salon of Sweden, Faster (internationally released DVD), National Aids Alliance, Measure 34 -- Oregonians for a Better Tillamook and El Gaucho Restaurant.

But Michael-Ellyn couldn't keep the singing bug out of her and continued to be involved in a variety of performance genres. She recently released with the band No Jive Five the CD "Life's Parade", named after her original song written during a cornerstone of her life, which is available on her website www.michael-ellyn.com for $15.00. Her professional singing credits include Bumbershoot 2004, Skychurch EMP, and many gold and silver medal wins at international choir competitions with Columbia Choirs where her friends and colleagues know she grew up singing in for 10 years of her life.

Whilst following her passion singing regularly in Jazz, Rock Cover and Originals, Motown, Soul, and Blues bands, as well as sassy comedic dinner theater groups, Michael-Ellyn started teaching singing to all ages of the Juanita and Seattle community, particularly focusing on becoming a positive and confident roll model for young girls. She also teaches voiceover technique and some linguistics while training for a broadcasting job in radio that will soon have her reporting live traffic conditions to radio stations all over Western Washington.

She started Mellyn Media Solutions, a firm that "provides live and recorded talent and media for corporate and private needs" because she realized the niche` that she was beginning to successfully fill encompassed all of media. The more work and projects she undertakes and organizes, the more wonderfully neat people she is blessed with knowing and connecting to each other for jobs and creative/business endeavors. Through her work, Michael-Ellyn has been on-camera actress and spokes model for television commercials such as Bailine, and technology firms such as Experticity Nextprise, as well as a commercial model for famed photographers in Seattle and New York.

Michael-Ellyn is a self starter and realizes that ultimately she is the one responsible for her own success. She is so eager to learn more because so much of what a successful life means to Michael-Ellyn are the relationships that are formed along the way!

There are volumes of value in the guidance and exchange of information with mentors. Michael-Ellyn thanks God everyday for the blessed relationships she's formed or been approached to form with industry professionals who wish to pass on their experiences and wisdom. "I've grown so much with their words of encouragement and their tips that they too had to learn at some point in their life", she says. "I imagine they have people knocking on their doors asking them for favors all the time---they either have connections, or ARE the connections, but I am so blessed to have had them pick me up to be an aire of their knowledge, that's all I've ever asked of them. I want to stay humble."

In turn Michael-Ellyn is quick to extend her knowlege to people wanting to acheive their own dreams. Michael-Ellyn adds, "I have a long way to go too, and mountains of growth to accomplish...but I'll do it. I want to spead that determination to others, and help foster that positive drive. It takes hard work to keep it up and a kind and helpful word goes for miles, if someone knows how to apply it!"

Michael-Ellyn continues to "keep on keepin' on" as she frequently puts it, and looks forward to each new challenge the days ahead bring.
