Since graduation, I attended Sam Houston State, married (36yrs) and live in Beckville,Texas. I am a Realtor and have been licensed since 1998. Previously I worked in various occupations. I was a dental assistant, worked for Allstate, owned a day care, taught school, worked for Panola College and settled on a career in real estate. My husband and I met in Carthage. Winston attended Texas A&M and played baseball for the Aggies 1977 & 1978. He is a celebrated coach and has been coaching girls softball since 1995 having made it to the state high school tournament in 2013.
We have a son (35) and a daughter (31). We have three grandchildren, two girls and boy, 8,7 & 1.
We recently purchased a new home and 17 acres. With the current economy my plans to build an event center were put on hold. My daughter and her husband are now building a home on that site. My son is in police academy and we are proud but concerned.
My most memorable high school experiences in high school were anything to do with sports and cheerleading. If I could do anything over again it would be to study harder. Favorite high school hang out was Village Inn downtown Houston. School activities and honors: Homecoming Queen nominee, Cheerleader, class officer, Most Versatile. Best friends in high school...my Waxahachie girlfriends. People from high school that I still regularly hang with...Waxahachie girls, Debra Haywood.
