60 Year Reunion Announcement!
WHAT A FABULOUS TIME!! Thanks to all of you who came.. and a very special thanks to Tommie Holub Hinski and Lanell Hillman Waldrop!! They went above and beyond to make it the best reunion ever!! with a photo booth to immortalize each attendee and wonderful food to help expand our waistlines.
It was so good to see all the smiling faces, some who had not come to previous reunions, as well as some who have been to all the reunions. But the old friendship and sweet feelings were still there for each of us. To see how little some of our classmates have aged, and how good God has been to all of us, even in our infirmities, we are still here to enjoy each other. Our thoughts go out to those who have passed, and others who we have not located. So sorry Clint & Judy Croft did not make it because of an accident on the way, and Tommy Weir is fine after the 911 scare.. God is good..
Remember to update your profiles and keep in touch.
If you know the location of any of the MIssing, please contact them and update their profile or let one of us know, so we can find all out friends before the next gathering..
praying for safe travels for everyone, until we meet again!!
11/22/2017 HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Wishing each of you a wonderful, happy and healthy Thanksgiving season. If you are traveling, be safe and enjoy this great time with family and friends.

After graduation, I went to work. On December 18, 1958, I married my high school sweetheart, Ron Waldrop ’56 and we began our lives together in Pasadena. We had Rhonda in 1960 and Susan in 1963. The family moved to Sharpstown in 1966 and we had David in 1967.
I was a stay-at-home Mom with all the volunteer duties that go along with that position such as PTA, room mother, Brownies, Cubs, Boy/Girl Scouts, softball, baseball, team mother, concession stand duty, cheerleading, drill team, football games, church activities, swim teams and ALWAYS carpools.
I started back to work on a part time basis at various jobs when David began 5th grade . I was a teacher aid, part time secretary for various companies, and I had two fun seasons as a Christmas floral designer for Cornelius Nursery.
In 1984, I went to work in full time keeping the books and making appointments for a wonderful optometrist, Dr. Richard Ebling, in Houston. Meanwhile, Ronnie retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline (now Duke Energy) in 1988 and turned a part time roofing business in to full time.
In 1991, he was appointed Commissioner for ASA (Amateur Softball Assn) covering the Harris Co. area. He still serves in that capacity and is very involved in the Special Olympic program. He retired from the roofing business in 1996. I worked for Dr. Ebling until 1991 when I left to help Ronnie in the roofing and softball businesses. I still do the softball books and we travel throughout the US for softball meetings.
In 1999, we built a home on 20 acres and moved to Cat Spring, Texas. We love it here and are involved in many activities and especially our small Lutheran Church, St. John. Ronnie is ending his second year as President of the Congregation and I belong to WELCA (ladies group) the Altar Guild, quilting, banners with various other duties. We love being a part of this church and this very small community.
As of 2007, we have been blessed with three wonderful children and six beautiful grandchildren. Michael is 18 and will enter the Corps of Cadets at Texas A & M in the fall. Brian is 15, Alyssa is 12, Kent is 9, Kyle is 4 and Ryan is 2.
We have a wonderful and blessed life and are thankful to God for each and every day. In December, 2008, we will celebrate 50 wonderful years of marriage. We look forward to many, many more years together and to seeing all of our classmates in September.
Update - 5-25-11
Ronnie and I did celebrate 50 years of a wonderful marriage on 12-18-08. He passed away of liver cancer on August 9, 2009 and my life changed forever. I still believe that God has wonderful plans for all our lives and I look forward to the great plans He has for me in the coming years.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
