Cheryl Donham Abeita

Ernest is the love of my life. We are blessed to have my Mom. We love to dance. We retired from our full time jobs.

We love Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

I went to Red Bluff Elementary, San Jacinto Jr High, and graduated in Class of 66 at Pasadena High. My brother and I were baptized at the Thomas Ave Baptist Church. I remember the Capitan Theater, the Drive In, and the zoo. I was in the band in Jr High and High School. I played the flute and was a twirler. Lots of memories. I was in Brownies and Girl Scouts.

I missed all of the reunions. I want to go to the one in 2011.

I have 2 daughters, a son, and 2 grandsons, and a granddaughter. Between my second husband and I, in total we have 8 children and with extended families 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

I worked for Texas International and Continental Airlines in the clerical and accounting areas in Houston. I left the Houston area in 1991. I had separated from my first husband. I moved to Austin. My first job in Austin was in the Office of Accounting at University of Texas.

I was widowed in 1992. Then I met Ernest, the love of my life, in 1996. We met each other dancing. We still love to dance. We act like a couple of kids and have so much fun.

On July 24, 2010, Ernest and I were married in the Catholic Church in Buda and had a great reception in the Historic Kyle City Hall. We had our union validated and blessed by the church. We were blessed to have our family and friends help us celebrate. Our entrance song was "At Last".

I worked in a call center as a licensed insurance customer service rep. I retired February 26, 2010. I will work in my home based business as a Mary Kay Independent Business Owner. Ernest is retired, but still works part time. We will make time to travel now.
