Today's Featured Biography
Cheryl Fuller Jones
I'm not sure what to put here... there have been many twists and turns in life. Lived in sereral places while following Donnie around in his career in the Air Force. We married in 1970. Have two wonderful sons and two equally wonderful grandsons. After living in Mississippi, Berlin Germany, Oklahoma, Georgia, Germany again, and lastly...Florida; Donnie retired from the Air Force in 1989. We discussed moving back to Texas (Jasper) when he retired, but our sons were going into their Senior n' Sophomore years respectively. Didn't think it fair to them to move at that time. Plus,I had finally landed a career as a warehouse manager for GE Aircraft Engines. I'd had many jobs while moving around, but this was my first "career". Now retired. I owned my own business after retirement, teaching small businesses how to set up and run inventories. I since sold it.
Donnie got real sick. 7 heart attacks, battling cancer for 5 years, and his kidneys aren't what they should be. On top of that, 3 hurricanes back to back really did a toll on the house. We are now seperated.
I have been volunteering with hospice teaching terminally ill people how to meditate. I also volunteer at the state prison in Tamoka, Fl teaching inmates how to meditate. I practice Zen Buddhism and may one day, become a monk.
Scuba Diving is a passion. I'm a certified rescued diver and I'm a dive guide for a Dive Charter out of West Palm Beach, FL.
I love riding Harleys and go to Daytona Beach each year for Bike Week (like that's a long way to travel, LOL).
Carl, our oldest, is a Manager for The Surf in Cocoa Beach and BJ, our youngest, just became a Souse Chef for The Tuscany in Viera. Both would love to be on "Hell's Kitchen" one day.
Our two grandsons, Devin (12), and Dylan (10), live just south of Tacoma Wa. in Belfair. They spend summers with us.

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
