60 Year Reunion Announcement!
WHAT A FABULOUS TIME!! Thanks to all of you who came.. and a very special thanks to Tommie Holub Hinski and Lanell Hillman Waldrop!! They went above and beyond to make it the best reunion ever!! with a photo booth to immortalize each attendee and wonderful food to help expand our waistlines.
It was so good to see all the smiling faces, some who had not come to previous reunions, as well as some who have been to all the reunions. But the old friendship and sweet feelings were still there for each of us. To see how little some of our classmates have aged, and how good God has been to all of us, even in our infirmities, we are still here to enjoy each other. Our thoughts go out to those who have passed, and others who we have not located. So sorry Clint & Judy Croft did not make it because of an accident on the way, and Tommy Weir is fine after the 911 scare.. God is good..
Remember to update your profiles and keep in touch.
If you know the location of any of the MIssing, please contact them and update their profile or let one of us know, so we can find all out friends before the next gathering..
praying for safe travels for everyone, until we meet again!!
11/22/2017 HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Wishing each of you a wonderful, happy and healthy Thanksgiving season. If you are traveling, be safe and enjoy this great time with family and friends.

50 years seems like forever when you're starting, but after 50 years, it seems only yesterday you began.
After graduation, I worked for 3 years as a secretary, and in 1960 married "the boy (man) across the street" George O'Neill. We had 4 sons and lead a fairly normal life. In 1974, Geo. decided to take a job in the desert of New Mexico, where we were born again, baptized in the Holy Spirit and our lives changed forever.
We moved back to Pasadena in 1976, but could not seem to settle in there. During all this time I sold Tupperware, did substitute teaching, was PTA president, chairman of room mothers, and lost my voice many times at the boys' numerous athletic events. We moved to Pearland in 1978 and I got my real estate license. I was very successful and was approached to open and manage an ERA office there. I really loved it and thrived on the pressure. Then Geo. got wanderlust again, and we started moving around with his job. During this period of time, I worked as a mortgage loan officer, tried retail sales and management and insurance sales. In 1989 we moved to Houston and I got back into real estate in the Sugar Land area. In 1991 a partnership of investors approached me to open C & H Realtors, which I decided to operate from our home. I still operate the business working mainly with personal referrals and investment properties (both sales and rehab.)
As we traveled we left off sons: Scott did missionary work in India, married in Lubbock and had 5 children. He earned a degree in law enforcement and became a police officer and chaplain for the department and still lives in Lubbock. Michael graduated high school in Euless, joined the Marine Corps and was seriously injured in Kuwait. After an unknown number of surgeries and rehab, he returned to Euless, married and has 4 children. He now works for Southwest Airlines at Love Field. Tim married a Lubbock girl, had a daughter, divorced and moved back to Pasadena. He also works for SWA and now lives in Pearland with his daughter. Dan was 21 when we left Pearland, and decided not to move with us. He went to work at SWA, got degrees from San Jac and U of H Clear Lake. He retired from SWA 3 years ago and is enjoying his single life while living in Webster.
So we have begun a new chapter in our lives, knowing that the adventure goes far above what we can see or imagine ---- tune in tomorrow...
Can you believe it's almost time for our 55th reunion!!!
George & I now have our first beautiful 2 year old GREAT grand daughter!! Our son, Scott is still retired from the Lubbock police dept, he and Jenny have moved to Brady, Tx. with only 2 of daughters where he works on his web site: MrHillcountry.com..
#2 Son, Dan got bored with retirement from SWA and went to work at United Airlines in Chicago, Il, and George has "semi retired", working about 20 hours a week when the mood strikes. So I am working harder and enjoying my real estate even more. Son #3, Tim is celebrating being a granPa and still working at SWA, and #4 Michael & Wendi and their fantastic 4 are building a dream home North Richland Hills.
Ain't life grand??
This must be how fairy tales get started...I'm enjoying the "and they lived happy ever after"!!!
5/11/16 - time for the 60th reunion planning.. really exciting to contact old friends from long ago.. nothing much has changed in my life in past 5 years, God has been good..
3-20-17 - what a great 60th reunion!! was so good to see all the smiling ageless faces. God's peace and good health until we meet again!!!
