Anyone that knew me in school knew I liked to be unconventional. That being said, I did things "backwards" compared to most people. I married my best friend in April of '87, and by 1990, we had had two sons and built a house. I was fortunate enough to stay home with my boys for 9 years, and when my baby started school, so did I! Nothing like starting college at age 30!
I'm been working for an architect in Hagerstown for over 9 years now, totally loving life. I'm very active in our church, leading our church's adult and youth drama teams (and have written the last six productions), helping with the youth ministry and teaching Sunday School.
Our family has always been busy with sports, hunting, church activities, and more. Our oldest son is in college to become a youth minister. Our youngest son is at CASHS.
I look back over my life and laugh at how different it's turned out compared to what I thought my future would be. But you know, it's even better than I could have hoped! After all the stupid mistakes and bad decisions I made, I really don't think I deserve to be this happy. Thank God for His grace, mercy, and faithfulness; for He never gave up on me and has helped me find true happiness.
