I've been in independent school education my entire career. First as English teacher, then as academic dean and for the last 13 years as Upper School Director of a Christian school in Durham NC where we live. Now work forSouthern Teachers Agency, which helps place teachers and administrators in private schools.
Church elder. Married to Becky Henegar Gould since 1992. Becky is on the staff of our church as Director of Congregational Care, and formerly taught Humanities and Drama at the Christian school where I worked and our sons attended. We have three sons: Alex, Ben, and Sam.
