New Update: I now have a granbaby :) Beautiful little Blain Anthony, born earlier this month, and is absolutely the most ADORABLE little guy around :) (besides his daddy and his uncle bubby :) ) Does this mean we are getting older??!!! LOLOL

New Update: I am now a mother-n-law, and a nana to be :) Yeah, i know, we are WAY to young to be grandparents...but, well, the boy is 21 (i was younger when i made MY parents grandparents...!!!) He also informed me that once the baby was born, his wife and the baby will be moving near me while he is deployed...again...this time, i am VERY nervous...looks like Afghanastan...I worry, as any parent would :) My daugter graduates this year, and it looks like she is off to WCU...or maybe Mars Hill College...she hasnt completely decided yet...but, its finally narrowed down to the two :). My youngest, well, hes a "tween"...and all of you know what THAT is like...!! Anyways, hope everyone is doing great :) :) :)

UPDATE: Ok, first--VERY sad to hear of Jason's passing...i very much remember him from school, and he will be deeply missed.
Wow, been a while since i updated, and since my last post, my son was sent to Iraq...talk about sending chills down a parents spine...to get a call (ok...in my case, my darling son decided to TEXT me this info...ggrrr) that you child is going to a foriegn country, where there is conflict...now, what ever your beliefs are on this war, i am fine with them...they are, after all, YOUR beliefs...my belief is that my son knows EXACTLY what he signed on for, so no matter how I feel about it, i am supporting HIM, and will stand beside him completely...ok, off my soap box :) BUT, the upside is, HE IS NOW HOME!!!i am a very happy mama :) :) He is stationed currently at Fort Bragg...where, again, he is trying to see just how many grey hairs Miss Clairol will have to cover up on my head...he informed me he is taking ranger training/explosive training...My daughter is a rising senior at Madison High, and my youngest will be entering madison middle school this year...other than that...same ole same ole :) Except, Me, Mary Jane (Plemmons) Shelton, Norma Jean (Ramsey) Luzetti and Revia (Norton)Thomas now get together once a month for dinner...and it has been a total blast :) :) hope everyone is doing well :)

UPDATE: I am now an "airborne mom" :-) My son Steve graduates Friday morning, and i couldnt be prouder :-) Of course...could have done without the horror stories...!!!

UPDATE: 1) Steve is in the army now!! So very proud of him :-) going through Basic right now, will go see him graduate in june. I THINK he is going into 82 AIRBORNE, but dont hold that to me :-) and 2) STAY OFF ROADS IN MADISON!!! Jess now has license... ok, she IS a good driver..just, well, if YOUR light is green...look both ways, and be aware of "a little red honda"...she will strangle me...but its funny...she ran a red light in the DRIVERS ED car...so embarrassed!! But, she has "come a long way" since then!

3 wonderful children (who are growing up entirely to fast), live in Mars Hill now. Run into a few people from school every once in a while, sometimes i recognize them, other times, its like "i THINK i know you, but from where?"! See some kids, and think "man, that has GOT to be so and so's kid!" My oldest son was a high school wrestler for Madison, did very good, went to state his senior year, placed 11th. We were at NB for a match, and seen several people whom i recognized immediately, but my main thought was "we had a wrestling team?"!!! It was great to see them though i didnt get to say hi or anything...bad cold, just wanted to get home! It was hard to route for my son's team, while also "cheering for the home team"...but it was great.
