Today's Featured Biography
Doug Wyatt
After high school I worked for Lowe's for a couple of years. While working there, I was offered a full time professional keyboard player position with a touring band. We played around 50 weeks a year from Canada to Florida. I came off the road and built a recording studio and started writing material for my first album "Elusive Dreams". I worked for New York Carpet World while I wrote new material for my second album "Speed Shiftin'".
Around 1995, I went to work for Dunham's Music House, and several important things happened. I decided to build a guitar from exotic woods, and had so much fun, I started building guitars as a side hobby. Also around this time, I became friends with the late Bob Moog, and played a small part in helping Bob get the name Moog Music, Inc. back. In 1998, I helped design and build Sleeping Wolf Productions, a state-of-the-art 72 track digital recording studio in Haywood County. I also engineered, produced, and/or played on seven commercially released CD's in addition to my own. In 2000, I went to work for Lowe's again as a flooring specialist. In 2004, I left Lowe's to start the guitar company full time.
Also around 2004, I worked with noted luthier David Simmons building electric basses. In 2006, I went to work for Home Depot, and have been juggling 16 to 18 hour days ever since. I started having dealers for my guitars in 2007, and keep a pretty rigorous show schedule, between clinics at my dealers stores and guitar shows around the country.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
