Well, I have to say the reunion was a blast. Below I will keep my "bio" for those first time people stopping by. But for those who I was able to see at the 20th, it was so great to see you. Please stay in touch and keep checking back for updates.
I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Agribusiness Management with a concentration in Marketing. Traveled to Phoenix, AZ and Austin, TX trying to pursue a business adventure which didn't quite work out. Came back and moved to Salinas, CA to work for an advertising agency as their Office Manager. I then decided I didn't quite like it in Salinas and came back to the Santa Ynez Valley where I met my husband Mark. We have been married for almost 11 years and have two beautiful girls, Victoria (2000) and Elizabeth (2003).
In 1998, my husband and I started a custom farming and earth moving business. We incorporated our business in 2003.
I also work for the Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country Association and in the process of becoming a Certified Bookkeeper in order to pursue other avenues in business. I am also on the Solvang Elementary PTO. (Who would have guessed?)
I have been employed by Waxing Poetic since October 2008 in their accounting department and absolutely love it. My boss is fantastic and I work with a great bunch of people. I make my own hours and have a flexible work schedule so to be able to be available for my full-time employers: Mark, Victoria and Elizabeth!
My full time employers are Victoria, Elizabeth and Mark. My job descriptions are: Cook, nanny, taxi-driver, maid, personal shopper, bookkeeper, coach, occasional therapist, referee, seamstress, boo boo fixer, ATM, personal assistant, CFO, CEO,COO and the occasional handing out of swats on the butt when need be.
