If you are a newcomer WELCOME!!!
1.If you are a classmate from the Class of 1980 and this is your first visit, then the first thing you need to do is to add this site to your Favorites List (Microsoft) or create a Bookmark (Macintosh) so that you can quickly find your way back to this site.
2.Your next task is to sign-in OR Register. To do this, go to the "Log ON" box located just to the right of the school picture on the home page and log in. Since (I believe) all names have been entered.. you only need to ADD your password.. if you have not "Registered" yet, you will need to do so by clicking on the text that says "Click To Register"
A. To Register, you must select a password of 6-12 numbers and/or letters with no spaces or punctuation.
B. You will now be directed to an enrollment screen to answer a few questions and make modifications. For instance, if you would like to be recognized by your nickname, please enter it in parenthesis after your first name. .
C. Be advised that while you are requested to provide your address and phone number, this information will NOT be available to anyone other than the site administrator, who is one of your classmates. However, your email address and any personal website information that YOU volunteer will be visible to anyone who opens your profile. If you do not have an email address or desire to make your address and phone public, then you should make a point of including it at the top of the biography section you will be asked to complete.
D. When you get to the biography section, please take the time to provide us all with a rundown on what you have been doing since you left school and what you hope to be doing in the future.
E. Once you are done, you are free to exit and see what you accomplished by coming back into the class directory. Since this website allows you to make changes whenever you like, you can always go back and make corrections, simply by going to the “My Profile” button at the upper right corner of the home page.
3. Your class photos will be posted.. If you would like to include your own photo album with your profile, then you can take advantage of the Photo Link Website utility included on your profile setup page.
4. Please feel free to post messages on the website. Once everyone has gotten around to logging on to the website, there will be a lot more messages showing up.
5. Just a couple more things... this is a FREE site.. but like no free lunch.. there are a couple of perks that come with a donation.. please look at the office to see what they are.. the Big one is that only 35 photos can be posted..
If each class member donates a month you will only need to donate once every few years..
I HOPE THIS MAKES IT EASIER FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND YOUR CLASS OF 1980 SITE.

Today's Featured Biography
[email protected] Redfern Mikelson
After High School I went to UCSB for 1 year, and then I went to New Zealand and worked on the race tracks with Thoroughbreds. In April of 1982 I was hit by a car while walking in the South Island of New Zealand.
I spent 3 months in hospital there before coming home with considerable physical problems and memory damage from the accident. After a year I resumed training horses and buying and selling, but after 6 years arthritis from the injury sites was becoming unbearable.
I was scheduled for double knee replacement when my Dad talked me into trying acupuncture. I did it 2x each week for 3 months and became pain free and able to do many things from before the accident.
I restored old houses in Los Alamos with my boyfriend-now-husband Pete and his daughter Jennifer, got married to Pete in 1994 and had our son Quinn in 1996. In 1998 I resumed school to become an Acupuncturist. I had another son Mikale in 2001, took a quick break in 2002 to help my Dad pass, and got my acupuncture license in 2003.
Pete and the kids and I travelled around the US and bought and remodeled homes for a few years until January 2007 when we packed up and moved to New Zealand, which had been my dream. We had 10 remodeled homes in numerous States that were rented out.
Not long after our move to NZ the Real Estate market crashed, and after 2 years we needed to decide whether to start again in New Zealand with nothing, or the US. We chose our home in California, as we felt there was better opportunity to start again here.
Upon our return I started working as an Acupuncturist with Dr Scott Saunders, and I built up a clientele in Lompoc, Buellton and Santa Barbara.
Now I have an Acupuncture Clinic at RedFern Farm on Refugio, and I do a Community Clinic at Buellton Medical Center on Saturdays.
Pete is a Building Inspector in Santa Barbara, Quinn is in Cal Poly and Mikale is a Junior at SYV High. Life is GOOD!

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
