I just have to tell you all how it warms my heart to see your names and faces again! Here's a little of what I have been up to since high school graduation...
Went to BYU fall of '71 majoring in Clothing & Textiles and returned to Fbks after three semesters. Worked for UofA and sang with Choir of the North directed by Dr. Davis. Went on a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (www.mormon.org) to the Washington-Seattle Mission. Married my husband of 35 years shortly after I returned home from Washington. We have 4 children and 13 grandchildren. After our wedding we lived in Sacramento, California, for almost 30 years. I taught full time at Heald Business College for seven years. I was hired as a shorthand teacher (my ONLY training was one semester of shorthand my sophomore year at Lathrop--sat next to Sheila Becker). I needed the job, so I made it work (stayed two chapters ahead of the class for the whole first semester ;o) Then worked for Sandia National Labs 5 yrs, then Public Health Institute until 2005 when we decided to leave California. I missed Fairbanks every day we spent in Sacramento. I finally finished a bachelor's in Psychology after we had four kids and I had a full time job (smart, I know--insert sarcasm). We moved to Idaho Falls in Jan 2005 and bought an old house to fix up. It is a work in progress, but we love the house and the area. Our nest is empty except for one 80 pound spoiled rottern Malemute named Atka. He keeps me tied to my roots. One by one our kids have moved to Idaho Falls with their families, and now we are all here together. Unbelievable! Our third child (Jennifer, 31) is in Utah until she finishes her Masters in Family Counseling in August 2011. She just landed an internship here in Idaho Falls. Michael and I are self-employed. We own Personal Best Performance (www.pb-performance.com). A little background on the company: Michael had a pacemaker implanted at age 30 after being told he had six months to live. But life is full of surprises. He started working out again after the pacemaker and finished Escape from Alcatraz Ironman in San Francisco. He got FIT and carried the torch in the Salt Lake Olympics. He's an amazing person. We both wish you all the best!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
