Shane Parker

Hello All,

Well it's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since we all graduated, but it doesn't make it any less real.

One week after graduation I moved to Minneapolis, MN to start college at Brown Institute College of Broadcasting.

After graduating in 1992, I moved back to Sheridan and became the Sports Director at KWYO Radio. I did this until KWYO was bought out by KROE radio. I stayed with KROE until 1995 doing Sports reporting when I went to work for Duhamel Broadcasting and was working as the Sheridan/Gillete area reporter. In 1996 I moved to Denver to be with my future wife. While in Denver I worked as the Network Engineer for the Colorado Rockies Baseball Radio Network.

In September 1998, after the birth of our first daughter, we decided that Denver was not the place for us to raise children and moved back to Sheridan. I have been married for 11 years to Heidi Rosenthal (Class of 1994) my wife and I own and run Babe's Flowers in Sheridan. I currently work as the Athletic Director and Staff Recruitor for NSI where I have been for the better part of ten years. I also am the Athletic Director at Holy Name Cathlolic School where my daughter Morgan is in 6th grade and son Jaxon is in 3rd grade.

We have three wonderful children and spend most of our time following them to their many events (sports/music/theater) that they are involved in. We like to camp and attend sporting events...especially Sheridan College Basketball where I have been the PA announcer for 10 years. We have also been host parents to the Sheridan College athletes for the past ten years and feel blessed to keep those relationships close even after they leave Sheridan.
